A qualified candidate will have five years of successful project management experience. In addition to the basic responsibilities outlined in this description, the candidate must have a proven track record of executing and managing projects up to $5 million in total installed cost.



  • Managing design teams on multiple projectsfrom FEL through detailed design and constructionfor glass, metal, industrial, or manufacturing companies.
  • Key interface with client on project progress, including scope development, budget and schedule updates, issues, change orders, leading design reviews, construction package strategy, action item lists, construction cost estimates, etc. 
  • Work with construction management to coordinate package strategy, construction issues, equipment deliveries, etc.
  • Provide business development support to develop opportunities with new and existing clients.


  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering is preferred; however other Bachelor of Science degrees will be considered.
  • Architecture / Engineering industry experience is preferred.
  • Over five years of applicable technical experience as well as five years of project management experience.
  • Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products and project controls tools. 
  • Beneficial to have plant experience in the glass, metals, manufacturing, or industrial industry.
  • Candidate should have experience interacting with owners, construction management, and contractors.
  • Responsible for preparation of fee proposal, contract negotiations with client with input from principal in charge, and accountable for adherence to timetable and financial success of all projects.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
