We are looking for an Interior Designer who will help keep our clients at the forefront of forward-thinking design in market sectors such as K-12 and higher education, corporate workplace, historic preservation and adaptive reuse, and workforce development.

Responsibilities

This position is a hybrid model that will require commuting to our Atlanta, GA office 2-3 days a week.

 

  • Working independently to address design challenges and make decisions that achieve project and client goals.
  • Completing all phases of the design process including schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction administration on small to larger projects.
  • Developing interior finish materials and construction details.
  • Designing and preparing interior finish presentation boards for review by clients.
  • Processing shop drawings and checking to ensure quality, accuracy, and completeness.
  • Preparing technical specifications to suit project design requirements along with cost estimates and budgets. 
  • Working within an integrated architectural and interior design team to develop all phases of the design process and coordinate interior design with other disciplines.

 

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture from an accredited school
  • 5-8 years of experience preferred as a Designer or equivalent in appropriate education and experience required.
  • Revit proficiency
  • NCIDQ and LEED accreditation a plus
  • Familiarity with,3D, including Enscape, Lumion rendering software platforms
  • Workplace Interiors and/or Office Building, Healthcare, Government or Hospitality architectural experience.
  • Experience with furniture specifications is a plus but not required.
  • Previous exposure to a broad range of market sectors is a plus.
