We're seeking an Engineering Project Manager (Design Lead) to be a vital part of our team. In this role, you'll have the chance to shape and oversee the scope of work, schedules, and budgets for diverse design projects. You'll collaborate across various disciplines, contributing to innovative solutions for state-of-the-art industrial and high-tech manufacturing facilities for leading global tech companies.

Responsibilities

  • Craft and implement project plans, establish control procedures, and flexibly adapt to ensure project goals are met.
  • Collaborate closely with our lead engineers, design team, and senior project managers to manage project scope, schedules, and budgets.
  • Develop and manage frameworks to track project progress, mitigate risks, and proactively address challenges.
  • Champion process improvements and engineer solutions to project-related issues while achieving objectives.
  • Coordinate meetings, manage document control with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies, including RFI responses.
  • Handle increasingly complex work assignments, adhering to defined scope, schedule, and cost guidelines with moderate supervision.
  • Review and approve client billings and assist with account collections when necessary.
  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure project deliverables are met and proactively address obstacles.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Design Lead, Engineering Project Manager, or a similar role is highly preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in collaborative, cross-office environments, including interactions with international locations.
  • An Associate degree in a relevant engineering field (e.g., civil, electrical, mechanical, industrial, process, or structural).
  • Proven experience in client-facing roles within the AEC industry.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and basic drafting software.
  • Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on location, education, experience, and relevant certifications.
  • Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, 401K retirement savings plan (with company matching), opportunities for professional development and training, generous PTO & paid holidays.

Additional qualifications (not required, but a plus):

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field (e.g., civil, electrical, mechanical, industrial, process, or structural).
  • Demonstrated client-facing experience in semiconductor tool installation or a related technical discipline.
  • Active Professional Engineering (PE) license.
  • Certification as a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
