We are seeking a skilled Instrumentations & Controls Group Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will engage in the designing, developing, and implementing of cutting-edge systems for state-of-the-art industrial and high-tech manufacturing facilities serving global leaders in technology. As an Instrumentations & Controls Group Manager, you will have a foundation in leading and managing a team of I&C Engineering staff to ensure the technical competency and quality of work performed by the staff. This person will also coordinate with various disciplines within the organization (architectural, mechanical, process/chemical, structural, etc.) and will be an integral part of problem-solving complex designs for state-of-the-art industrial and high-tech manufacturing facilities for the world’s leading high-tech companies.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively lead, manage, and mentor the I&C Engineering staff and design work, with an emphasis on employee growth, project success, and overall performance.
  • Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings.

  • Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.

  • Set clear goals and objectives, assess progress, and instill a performance-oriented culture with a focus on accountability. Deploy a strategy that builds, retains, and engages all employees through inclusion and teamwork.
  • Coordinates with various disciplines within the organization (architectural, mechanical, process/chemical, structural, etc.) to collaborate, optimize, and improve work and staff sharing by participating in multi-discipline strategy sessions.
  • Assists all levels of Management in articulating discipline capability requirements in support of strategic and business objectives.
  • Identifies, champions, mentors, and coaches the development of our less experienced staff and looks for ways to elevate the technical and professional expertise of the team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
  • Active Professional Engineering (PE) license or the ability to obtain an active PE license is a plus.
  • Demonstrated leadership, mentorship, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in industrial facility, semiconductor, high technology, and/or battery manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
  • Salary Range: $90,000 - $150,000/year depending on location, education, experience, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
