Design Tool Installation packages. Packages to include Architectural layouts, Schematics, Facility Data information, General Routing, and Details.
- Create Schematic to show tool components (Fab / Subfab) full utilities (exhaust, water, process piping, BCDS, specialty gases).
- Develop Fab / Subfab partial plans for mechanical routing and elevation details as required.
- Create custom details as required or ensure latest client details are in the design packages.
- For each Architectural layout:
- Locate equipment position in drawing and provide dimensions, call out standard details as required.
- Develop Schematics:
- Create detailed mechanical schematics including sizing and material type for utilities (chemicals, drains, exhausts, water, high/low purity).
- Generate Routing plans:
- Create detailed Fab routing plans for utilities to the equipment.
- Designer / Engineer will coordinate work with local designers / engineers.
- Designer will answer RFI’s/ROD’s and update drawings for Record Drawings.
- Perform appropriate calculations (as needed).
- Coordinate needs and develop an understanding with other design disciplines (Electrical, Structural, Architectural) for design package needs.
- May create a first of a kind design using supplier information.
- Ensure quality control by complying with team design Drafting and CAD standards.
- The Designer / Engineer will perform design as well as coach and develop other designers locally.
- Travel required for initial training.
