SSOE is looking to hire an Engineering Scope/Routing Coordinator to join our Project Management team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in coordinating scope between various disciplines on semiconductor design projects both in the office and the field, ensuring efficient communication and collaboration. Semiconductor industry experience is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project scope between various disciplines on semiconductor design projects
  • Foster and lead collaboration, communication, strategy, and support between each of the various disciplines (Electrical, Mechanical, Structural, Process/Chemical, Architectural, etc.), as well as inter-company multi-discipline teams to optimize efficiency, quality, and project success.
  • Utilize standard engineering principles to collaborate with engineers and designers across different disciplines to optimize routing and penetrations in the field and/or the design software
  • Utilize Navisworks to identify, streamline, and resolve clashes in the models with project teams, ensuring seamless integration of various project components.
  • Apply established design techniques and exercises discernment in adapting and modifying design routing concepts as needed. Uphold quality control by adhering to established company and client standards.
  • Query the lead discipline to understand the scope needed from supporting disciplines. This requires an understanding of the technical requirements of each discipline and how they interact.
  • Ensure that the scope required and any hand-off information from the lead discipline to the downstream disciplines is conveyed and communicated effectively. This involves ensuring that all necessary information is accurately conveyed.

Qualifications

  • Previous work experience with semiconductor design projects is preferred
  • An ABET-accredited engineering degree is preferred.
  • Ability to work in an industry with multiple deadlines and competing priorities; an engineering-focused / technical environment; and simultaneous management of multiple tasks and projects
  • Strong coordination, organizational, and project management skills
  • Strong critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify, assess, and respond to issues, including the ability to drive resolution of technical issues in a timely and effective manner with a team
  • Excellent communication and people skills; this role requires the ability to effectively convey complex technical information to a variety of stakeholders (both technical and not)
  • Proficiency in using Navisworks, AutoCAD, and computer software and tools.
  • Salary Range: $80,000 - $115,000/year depending on location, education, experience, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
