Overview

SSOE supports several Fortune 100 companies on exciting projects to help them realize their visions for the future—a future that impacts all of us. As a Marketing Coordinator supporting our Building Design Group (BDG), you'll coordinate and develop collateral supporting our U.S. operations, focusing on our architectural markets in pursuit of new project work.

 

In this role, you’ll lead kick-off meetings and facilitate strategy discussions for client-facing material preparation, gaining project management experience in dynamic markets along the way. Given the fast-paced, deadline-driven nature of proposal, presentation, and qualification (PPQ) development in the AEC industry, you’ll be responsible for bringing together information from multiple parties, possessing strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize workload assignments. Responsibilities

EXCEPTIONAL INTERNAL CUSTOMER SERVICE

  • Working closely with project managers and operations leadership on:
    • competitive proposals
    • presentations
    • qualifications (including content creation and assembly)
    • managing a review process
    • final product delivery to the client
  • Utilizing excellent communication and project management skills to gather information from multiple sources to meet submittal deadlines.

 

WORKING AS PART OF A TEAM

  • Facilitate strategy discussions to develop proposal win themes.
  • Develop new content, such as project profiles, through interviewing internal subject matter experts.
  • Tailor professional resumes for technical staff to be used within a proposal.
  • Assist presentation teams as they prepare for client-facing interviews / meetings.
  • Coordinate materials for participation in industry conferences.
  • Work alongside and support fellow Marketing Coordinators and Senior Marketing Coordinators to meet their project deadlines.
  • Includes some data entry and extraction from our database.

Qualifications

  • Excellent writing, editing, & proofreading skills.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, detailed, and deadline-oriented environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Ability to work productively and independently under deadlines.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a positive team spirit.
  • Proficiency in InDesign and Microsoft Office Suite—Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Salary Range: $65,000-$75,000/year depending on location, education, experience, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.

Bonus Points if You Have:

  • AEC industry and/or proposal experience, specifically in the Architectural industry.
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or technical writing.
