We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Group Manager to lead our Tool Install team. You will have the opportunity to directly impact the design of critical electrical systems for semiconductor manufacturing tools. You will be responsible for ensuring the technical excellence and efficiency of our team's work, collaborating closely with clients and other engineering disciplines to deliver projects that exceed expectations. This position will be a hybrid position, requiring occasional onsite work. Fully remote or travel work arrangements for this role are not available. Local candidates are encouraged to apply, but relocation assistance may be provided for well-qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the electrical design and implementation for semiconductor tool installations, including power distribution, grounding, and interface with process equipment.
  • Develop and maintain detailed electrical design packages specific to tool installation requirements, ensuring compliance with SEMI standards and client specifications.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of specialized electrical systems for critical process tools, such as vacuum systems, gas delivery systems, and cleanroom equipment.
  • Provide strategic leadership and technical guidance to the Electrical Engineering Tool Install team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Manage project workloads, allocate resources effectively, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality deliverables.
  • Conduct technical reviews of designs and calculations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
  • Mentor and develop team members, providing training and guidance on electrical design practices.
  • Collaborate closely with process engineers, mechanical engineers, and tool vendors to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
  • Ensure all electrical designs and installations comply with relevant codes and standards, including NEC, SEMI standards, and client-specific requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
  • Active Professional Engineering (PE) license or ability to obtain an active PE license is required.
  • Demonstrated leadership, mentorship, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in industrial manufacturing, semiconductor, high technology, and/or battery manufacturing industry is essential.
  • Salary Range: $100,000 - $150,000/year depending on location, education, experience, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
