SSOE is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead full cycle recruiting for highly technical roles supporting the Semiconductor / Advanced Technology market. In this role, you will partner closely with project managers, discipline leaders, and business leaders to understand workforce needs, build targeted sourcing strategies, and deliver a strong candidate experience from intake through offer acceptance. You will manage multiple requisitions at once, guide hiring teams through review and interview stages, coordinate compensation and offer processes, and help ensure hiring decisions align with business goals, project schedules, and long-term workforce planning. This role requires strong judgment, excellent communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment where precision, responsiveness, and relationship building are essential.

• Manage full cycle recruiting for technical, professional, and leadership roles supporting semiconductor and advanced technology projects, from intake through offer close.
• Partner with hiring managers, project leaders, and HR stakeholders to define position requirements, build recruiting strategies, and establish realistic hiring timelines aligned with project demand.
• Source passive and active candidates through networking, referrals, direct outreach, database searches, and market mapping tailored to specialized engineering and project delivery talent.
• Conduct candidate screens to assess technical background, motivation, communication skills, compensation expectations, and alignment with role requirements and company culture.
• Coordinate and facilitate interview processes, ensuring timely feedback, clear communication, and a positive candidate experience across all stages.
• Support compensation discussions and offer preparation by gathering market data, validating internal equity considerations, and helping drive competitive, compliant offers.
• Maintain accurate requisition, candidate, and pipeline data in the applicant tracking system and use reporting to monitor funnel health, time to fill, and source effectiveness.
• Collaborate with hiring teams to refine job descriptions, interview questions, and selection criteria to improve clarity, consistency, and hiring outcomes.
• Build talent pipelines for hard to fill roles by developing proactive sourcing plans for engineering, project management, construction support, and other specialized functions.
• Represent SSOE professionally in candidate communications, career events, and external networking activities to strengthen employer brand in target markets.
• Track recruiting trends, labor market conditions, and competitor hiring activity to inform strategy and identify opportunities for improved talent attraction.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, employment law, and fair hiring practices throughout the recruiting process.
• Support workforce planning, succession discussions, and internal mobility efforts by identifying internal and external talent options and advising stakeholders on available market talent.
• Continuously improve recruiting processes, templates, and communication workflows to increase efficiency, quality of hire, and candidate satisfaction.

• At least 5 years of progressive recruiting or talent acquisition experience, preferably in engineering and architecture, or other technical related professional services environments.
• Demonstrated success recruiting for specialized roles requiring niche skill sets (such as semiconductor, advanced technology, mission-critical infrastructure, etc.), strong technical acumen, and experience working with distributed hiring teams.
• Experience supporting full-cycle hiring in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment with multiple open requisitions and competing priorities.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence hiring managers and build trust with candidates at all levels.
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, recruitment databases, and standard Microsoft Office applications; experience with sourcing tools and online professional networks is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, follow through, and the ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
• Experience partnering on interview coordination, offer development, and candidate negotiation while maintaining a high standard of professionalism.
• Ability to work collaboratively across HR, finance, and business leadership teams while demonstrating initiative, sound judgment, and a service-oriented mindset.
